“Ogijima, Future Education” Project

Ogijima Future Education Parents Committee has established a project to create a rich educational environment for children on Ogijima.

About Ogijima

Ogijima is an island in Seto Inland Sea of Japan, 40 minutes by ferry from Takamatsu City. The island has experienced life with no children on the island due to depopulation and the temporary closure of the school on the island. In 2014, the school reopened with 4 families moving to the island, and 5 years later, over 40% of the 160 people on the island are people who have relocated here, half are families.

Activities
