Building kid’s playground behind Ogijima library

Ogijima Library is a place on the island where many islanders from young to old gather. There are plenty of book and children’s book to read, as well as a cafe where coffee and tea are served. Parents decided to make a space behind the library into kid’s playground.

It was not an easy project as weeds had grown tall all over the garden after rainy season, and cultivator was broken- it turned out to be a bit of work. 

Rocks and stones were removed so that kids could play barefoot. Now that the swing is completed, what’s next?!
